What's a digiwicket?
The word is made up, by me, and is from the metaphor "sticky wicket", which is used to describe a difficult or challenging situation. The term comes from the game of cricket.
Digiwicket is my name for digital media production projects.
In cricket, a sticky wicket makes the ball bounce in crazy ways on the pitch (that's the field, not the throw) which makes batting more challenging. And sometimes the pitch is referred to as a wicket.
In the fast paced, ever-changing world of digital media production, every project is a digiwicket - crazy bounces making it ever more challenging. But that's one of the things I love about digital media, and I'm eager to tackle digiwickets in Hungary. And maybe I'll give cricket a try! Hungary4Cricket.com
